Non Hydrated ice packs are much lighter in weight and are cheaper on postage, however they require soaking before they can be frozen. These are available in pads and strips.
Absorbent strips are great alternative to water filled ice sheets.
Just soak the strips for 10 minutes in fresh water and freeze.
These ice strips will help to keep your produce below the recommended temperature for transit.
