Start with your product’s outer dimensions (including any trays, vacuum packs or cartons), then choose a box with a little extra space for ice packs and insulation clearance. For best temperature control, aim for a snug fit rather than lots of empty air space. If you’re between sizes, pick the size that allows room for your cooling solution and protective fill.
Temperature performance depends on pack-out, ambient conditions and journey time. For most UK deliveries, the best results come from:
• Pre-chilling products before packing
• Using the right number/type of ice packs
• Minimising empty space inside the box
• Sealing well and avoiding repeated opening
