UK Government Plastic Packaging Tax

Dear Valued JB Packaging Customers

The Government led packaging tax was implemented on the 1st April 2022 to our shop pricing across our Polystyrene Box and Poly Plus ranges.

The tax will affect single use plastic packaging manufactured in or imported into the UK that does not contain at least 30% recycled material. Consequently, food packaging we supply on this website will fall under this category and will be subject to this additional tax (levy). We have incorporated this within your purchasing cost.

We are reviewing monthly the costs on Energy, raw materials and transport, so you will see this reflected in the costs on the first of each month. These are continuing to rises leaving us with no option but to accept the costs to guarantee supply to our customers.
